There really are no words.....

..to describe the loveliness of today. There were daisies in the grass and dappled light and dancing children in beautiful frocks and armchairs on the lawn and lampshades blowing gently in the breeze, hung from the marquee like leaves on a tree and china crockery and little forks to eat your cake with that lived in a drawer in a side table that was nestled between the desert table and the china cup table and a band that looked awesome and home-made sloe gin and a salmon caught fresh the day before and little lemon possets with little cardamom shortbread and assembled guests singing I love you baby at the top of their voices and then giving it laldy when they got to the chorus (doo doo doo doo do do do doo...). And all in a little secret castle on a sunny day. Which just goes to show that when you think you can't find the words you usually can and also that a picture speaks a thousand words.

When I cater for a wedding I like to create a sense of friends getting together on a relaxed Sunday afternoon, sharing good times, good food and enjoying each other's company. Hannah and Daniel's beautiful beautiful wedding is precisely that.Posted by Picasa
Christian, the official photographer will be blogging his photos soon - I can't wait to see them and will post the link as soon as I can.
